hehe.... ooo.. u guys get to take blood samples adi!!! thats so fun!! i get to go on GP visits next tuesday onwards... every week 3 of us go to a GP... one will stay back with GP to watch him talk to patients and see him examine them... the other two have to go out and make home visits!! so fun rite?? and i heard from seniors the patients LOVE to lie straight to our faces... just for kicks..

eg...

student : have u been to a hospital lately?
patient: nope.. never in my life...
student : then whats this scar under ur arm?
patient : oh thats when i was in the hospital 3 months ago for treatment...

etc... u get the picture... if ur not observant u wont get anything out of those jerks... hehe....

and there was this long term renal patient... who has been to hospitals for over 30 years already.. so he knows more about his condition than any of us junior med students... he says he loves watching us dig a hole around ourselves by making wrong diagnosis... prescribing wrong treatments... then he'll bury us in our own holes.... its just never dull in this course... hahah....

cant wait for lectures on mon....
